The Prince and Me (2004): not a good movie. it kept dragging on with more and more little extra pieces of plot they had to add in order to get this story anywhere near 2 hours. granted, its entertaining, but only for those under 16 and who are female. julia stiles is not impressive and her short little haircut really brings out her face, and trust me that's a bad thing. now that i think about it, i don't remember laughing once during the movie. don't see it.
Gothika (2003): i don't remember why i heard so much hype about this movie. it really wasn't that great. take the sixth sense, add what lies beneath, then throw in a dash of crappy actress and you have this movie. it was scary, i'll give them that. and i freaking love robert downey jr, but the ending ruined it all because you realize they have ripped off both of the movies above. kind of a let down because it had lots of potential. and what the hell does gothika mean anyways? they never explain that. if you aren't a freaking baby when it comes to scary movies like i know a few of you are, see it.
so take a look at the time that i posted this. yeah, that's right. your eyes are not deceiving you. that would be AM you are looking at. i'm at work dying to fall asleep. before i got here i had it in my head that i'd get lots of homework done. doubt that'll happen now that i'm here. we have officer barney fife on tonight pulling over everyone so i'm sure i won't get to snooze at all. so, i read that this monday the assault rifle ban expires. looks like i'll be asking for a tec 9 for christmas. get a fatty uzi for my b-day. life is good.
too bad there isn't any talent shows coming up cuz i would love a reason to get a sweet dance routine going on the dance game. can be like napoleon's sweet moves. been watching some videos of those crazy koreans going at it. with them putting so much time into the dance game there, its amazing they find the time to make nukes to kill us all over here. maybe they'll spare us fellow dancers.
tonight had a great dinner over at the chef's table. sweet little place. coconut shrimp with a raspberry sauce as the appetizer, then a most perfect tomato soup. i can only describe it by saying each spoonful was like eating the most delicious lasagna. then for dinner i had shrimp scampi over angel hair and tomatoes. it had something else that was just to die for, but we never did figure out what it was. some kind of potato maybe. who knows, who cares. it was good though. finally for dessert it was banana fosters. unbelievable. kim had some chicken thing and crème brule for dessert. our waiter was a stiff, the hostess who walked around made us feel as uncomfortable as possible, but other than that, really good. i would recommend it and go back there again if i had a big enough stomach for it. its been hours later and i still don't want to see food for another few days. guess i'll try and sleep. tomorrow is gonna be busy. lots of special goodness lined up.
